VOTING MEMBER

So very honoured to receive notification today that I am now a voting member of the Hollywood Music in Media Academy! I am beyond delighted and honoured to be a part of this prestigious, awesome, inclusive organisation.

‘You have been approved to be in the HMMA voting body. You will receive notices and limited ballots during the voting period prior to the next HMMA event (Nov. 16, 2022)’

The Hollywood Music In Media Awards is one of the most anticipated music events in the industry. It is the best and most reliable indicator of nominees and winners in the music categories of all mainstream awards, including EMMYs, Grammys, Golden Globes and Academy Awards. People travel from around the globe to attend this prestigious event, and I have been in some very special company at these events, with the legends that are Diane Warren, Alan Silvestri, Ray Parker jr and Verdine White from Earth Wind and Fire.

The Hollywood Music In Media Academy was created as a statutory voting body of entertainment professionals and journalists to assist in the selection of winners from designated nomination categories within the Hollywood Music In Media Awards. The HMMA also includes an Advisory Board consisting of professionals from various facets of entertainment including, but not limited to, Society of Composers and Lyricists (SCL), the Television Academy, Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), The Recording Academy (NARAS), Songwriters Hall of Fame (SHOF), performing rights organizations, journalists and music executives.
