HMMA 2021

I am so honoured and thrilled to receive a nomination in the Americana / Folk / Acoustic category in this year's Hollywood Music In Media Awards!!!!!  It's going to be held in Hollywood in January 2021 instead of November 2020, due to Covid 19, and I would so LOVE to be able to be there!  I've flown out to LA for the last two years and I was so very lucky to have won BEST SINGER SONGWRITER last year!!!!  Really wasn't expecting to win and it was an incredible surprise.  The whole evening is a glittering, sparkling event full of creative people...some indie's like me and some industry greats like the utterly marvellous Alan Silvestri (Avengers Endgame).

We live in a quaint fishing village in Wales with its very own ancient castle, and I wrote this song late one cold, dark, winter's Friday night. My two beautiful boys were tucked up in bed and I was all alone, but wishing my husband was with me. This song is for all of you out there who are separated from loved ones for extended periods of time, but they are always in your heart. I hope you like it! Love Jill x
